I love to create illustrations of animals and play with texture, colour and shape. The flowing shape of the tiger jumping felt like almost like something you'd see a horse or dragon do in a old book of fairytales. It really drew me to the original drawing in my sketchbook and I knew I had to paint it.
I love that the colour pencils can create bold textures for the tigers stripes and it really compliments the softness of the watercolour.

A fun dancing tiger, perfect for adding a pop of colour to any wall, shelf or anywhere you you want to decorate.
Painted in watercolour and finished off with coloured pencils, my favourite combination of watery gradients and flat colours with contrasting textured lines and subtle shading.
This print is A5 (21 by 15cm ) and comes unmounted, I am currently working on offering optional mounting options to all prints so watch this space. The print is 250 gsm.
This print is made from textured recycled paper and is packaged in a glassine bag which can be put in with paper recycling or can be reused.
