I have a tiny model of the Owl of Athena which has inspired my owl designs. This is a completely new design incorporating three gemstones, and I think it has turned out very well!....

Full description
Large brooch handmade in pewter embellished with purple fluorite cabochons. This is a new design for me, inspired by the traditional image of Owl of Athena. The owl is flanked on either side by two plants with flowers or fruits of purple fluorite. Fluorite comes in a variety of shades from clear to lilac to deep amethyst, so I have used three differing cabochons.
The brooch is large, 59 x 38mm, but light in weight due to the use of aluminium as a base for the embossed pewter. It will be sent to you wrapped in tissue in an organza bag, by First Class post. A lovely gift for a woman for Mothers' Day, a 10th Wedding Anniversary, Graduation gift or a birthday.
