AGNESS No.1 is the first scarf design in a limited-edition collection inspired by the beautiful walled garden at Burton Agnes Hall in Yorkshire.
The woven design is inspired by patterns in irregular Victorian brickwork. The colour palette is inspired by the beautifully designed planting within the walls of the garden. I loved the contrast of soft plants against the strength of the brick wall. I captured this softness by lightly felting the luxurious merino lambswool yarn.
