Due to updated UK government and EU regulations I am not able lo accept orders from Northern Ireland or to ship there. Apologies to those in that part of the UK.
The Lucienne Collection is named after the textile designer Lucienne Day whose work in the 1950s influenced a wide area of design. Her textile ‘Calyx’ was created for the Festival of Britain in 1951 and is still much admired today. She explored many design sources, but my Lucienne Day favourites, such as Calyx, are from the natural world. My own designs feature a nod to cow parsley, marsh grass, vine tendrils, plough furrows and field fencing.

I decided on bands of colour in lemon and pink pastel shades to decorate this vase, a look that suits contemporary lifestyles and interiors. The bands feature incised motifs of plant bud forms and field furrows, a technique known as sgraffito which shows off the black clay. Inside I have used an iron lustre glaze which fires to subtle shades of very dark blue, mustard and russet. The overall shape I form with my hands, folding a sheet of clay into a soft oval shape. Zoe can show off informal arrangements of garden flowers, wildflowers or grasses, fresh or dried, and gives a lovely light and fresh feel to your interior look. Zoe is 16.5cms high and 6cms at the widest part of the oval.
