A stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A horse head, dark brown colouring, made from lovely glass using lots of streaks for the mane to give the effect of hair and to give it movement.
I've cut the eye from dichroic glass so it is very twinkly as this is a very friendly horse.
It looks lovely hanging in the window in the light and would make a pretty ornament for any room..
The suncatcher hangs from a little chain which is securely attached to the top of horse. It is approximately 10cm high and wide.
This item is absolutely unique. I drew the pattern for this suncatcher in 2009 and have been selling it on Folksy since. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
It is one of my best selling suncatchers.
This would make a super present especially for a horse loving friend or child. Please note though that this is an ornament made of glass and not a toy.
Just send me a note if there is a different colour you would like and I will make one for you.
The last photo shows this horse with a palamino and a white version, for sale as separate listings.
My animal suncatchers are always popular but this horse is my best selling design.
