Both onyx and tiger's-eye are semi-precious birthstones for August and Leo.
The colours of the Swarovski crystals represent aspects of Leo, light green for the traditional birthstone peridot, yellow for the ruling planet, the sun, and orange for the element of fire.
1/2/22 marks the start of the Chinese New Year - the Year of the Tiger.
Other "tigers" are 1902, 1914, 1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010.

Added to the Seconds Sunday sale as an old line rather than having any imperfections.
The faceted onyx teardrop centrepiece for this necklace measures 25mm x 18mm.
It is flanked by Swarovski crystals in "fire opal", "light topaz" and "peridot" set between beads of gold hematite.
Next we have 6mm red tiger's-eye then 4mm golden-brown tiger's-eye separated with Swarovski "peridot" crystals and small beads of gold vermeil.
Towards the back of the necklace, the beads graduate to smaller tiger's-eye and onyx beads.
The piece is finished with a gold vermeil trigger clasp.
Gold vermeil is sterling silver that has been plated with 18K gold, and the clasp is stamped "925".
The necklace measures approximately 18 inches (46cm).
Delivery is free within the UK.
Presented in a small organza bag.
