A really nice piece of Tulip wood turned into a closed form shape, the heart/sap wood difference really stands out, making the piece unique. A joy to turn the timber comes from a local supplier who closed in lockdown 1, so I'll be on the look out for some more.

Full description
Tulip wood Fruit or food bowl, 190 x 65mm, finished in food safe oil. A lovely closed form bowl in tulip wood, a gently curving shape shows off the striking grain of Tulip wood, which has greenish heart wood with dark streaks and cream coloured sap wood.
