Meet Leith, a tiny seed-podling baby, snugly tucked in her peanut shell cocoon ...
Leith has been sculpted with my own blend of polymers. She is a 'one of a kind' creation having been entirely handmade as always without the use of moulds here at my studio in the heart of the Sussex countryside. She has been gently blushed. Leith is just two inches long in her shell and would make a unique and precious addition to your collection. She is not removable from the shell and has been designed to hang by her hessian cord.
About the Artist:
Ann Galvin is a professional multi-media artist with thirty years experience. After studying Sculpture and Ceramics, she began her professional career as a freelance illustrator. She later returned to modelling in clay, polymers and cold porcelain. She has exhibited widely at exhibitions and galleries and has been a member of many Sussex collectives. Her work has been featured in Dolls House and Miniature Scene Magazine.
