I love LS Lowry paintings and sketches,especially the ones that are not as well known.
This was one of his drawings that would later become one of his many many paintings.

Full description
This is part of a series painted in acrylic paint on 2 x 2 inch canvas. This is a copy of an early LS Lowry sketch and is likely to be in Ashton under lyne on the outskirts of greater Manchester .
It’s a small painting of steps found on one of Lowrys local walks. Lowrys original had a bit more colour in it than mine but I wanted to create an almost negative view of an often grim subject matter.
