I do love cats and they are one of the first animals I ever made. Over time I have introduced different styles and as my experience has grown I have made the positions more complex.
Cats come in many different colours and I enjoy being able to recreate markings in my own style.

Full description
Slip cast in earthenware clay using a plaster piece mould I have produced from my original standing cat sculpture.
After a bisque firing I have hand painted the standing cat using brushes to apply black, brown and cream underglaze colours.
The standing cat has been finished in a gloss glaze and fired to a temperature just above 1100°c.
This Brown Tabby Standing Cat is an original hand painted design and makes a delightful ornamental figure.
