Wabi-sabi is a Japanese concept, possibly described as finding beauty in imperfection. Originally 'wabi' referred to the loneliness of living in nature, which then came to mean 'rustic simplicity'. The word 'sabi' referred to the way time affects deterioration, and impermanence shown through patina or wear.

Full description
These earrings are handmade to order using Sterling Silver wire.
I solder the wire into circles, which I leave as a slightly natural shape, rather then being perfect.
They also have hammered lines to add texture. The circles are oxidised/tarnished to darken, and then I polish them to let some of the silver colour shine though.
The earrings measure approximately 1cm across. When worn, the circle sits half on the lobe, half below it- making these more statement than your usual simple circle earrings!
As I make these to order, each pair differ ever so slightly, making them unique.
Earring wires and scrolls are also made from Sterling Silver.
Will arrive in a gift box.
