Full description
A transformation from vintage curtain to overnight bag/holdall or large handbag/tote - whatever you choose it to be! The pattern is William Morris' "Rose" by Sanderson - and my guess would be the curtain may have dated back to the 1980s. A glorious fabric which is wonderful to work with, and has cute little birds hidden amongst the roses. Lined and based with a complimentary pink weave fabric, picking up the colours in the roses, and with two sturdy cotton carry straps. Has a double zipper zip and is very spacious - great for packing lots inside! Folds flat for easy storage.
Shown on an adult size mannequin in the photos, with stuffing inside the bag to illustrate its size and shape (stuffing not included!). Also shown flat on a table so you can see how it can fold down for storage. Due to its upcycled nature, there is a small area at one end of the bag with a little bit of fading - which I don't think detracts from the overall look - and is shown in the last photograph on the listing.
