Item details

A lovely tea light holder created from a diverse mix of shapes and coloured sea glass. Glass which has been tumbled, washed and worn by the ocean over many years. Each piece has its own surface texture and unique colour. I have not treated the glass in any way other than a soapy wash to remove sand and then left to dry thoroughly.

The tea light holder has a sturdy glass base with three small bun feet so will not mark the surface it sits on. The large tea light candle is also included. When lit the candle light reflects gently through the sea glass giving a subtle light for in or outdoor use. It would make a unique gift for anyone who loves the ocean, be it family or friends - or treat yourself!

Care for your sea glass by an occasional rinse under running cold water to remove dust then leave to dry naturally. This will retain the natural sea worn look. I use a quality silicone adhesive which is strong, flexible and totally waterproof.

Beachcombing often rewards me with little treasures such as fossils, driftwood and colourful tactile stones, however sea glass has to be my favourite as these days it's rarer to find here.
