Seashore Fabric Bookmark, A Gift for Book Lovers, Thank You Teacher Gift, Birthday Gift.
A beautiful, original bookmark, the perfect keepsake for marking your place in your latest page turner.
A unique birthday or ‘thank you’ gift for the book lovers in your life.
The bookmark is a little piece of fibre art in itself. I made the bookmark by piecing strips of cotton fabric in the colours of the seashore. Using free motion embroidery I drew the ocean waves with my sewing machine. The bookmark is finished off with satin stitch around the edges and a tassel.
The bookmark is backed with blue felt and the firm interfacing inside gives it a robust structure.
The bookmark measures 5cm/2” x 18cm/7”
