A smart A5 journal with covers of rust-red pull-up calf leather and matching bookmark.

Pull-up leather has been finished with oils and waxes to give it a matt finish, which builds a patina and "used" look as it ages. It is firm and strong leather, with a smooth matt texture, which will last a long time, but it feels and looks great.
The journal contains 48 pages of beautiful cream laid writing paper, with hand cut edges.
It is hand bound in four sections, with deep turquoise blue linen thread, in a traditional long-stitch.
There is a matching bookmark, made with a left-over strip of the leather and with a hand made turquoise linen cord trim.
The book measures 21cm x 14cm, which is A5 size.

A label can be added to your book. It will be cut from stiff white paper and fixed to the first page - please ask for more information.
