I love finding new ways of incorporating colour into my work and I first started using smart materials during my M.A in 2015. I am working on ways to incorporate this technology into my aluminium jewellery but in the mean time created this range of Jesmonite jewellery.

This pendant is part of a new range of concept jewellery inspired by pebbles, hand crafted from sterling silver and Jesmonite

Details - hand crafted sterling silver pebble shaped pendant with a Matt finish.

The sterling silver pendant is filled with Jesmonite that has been tinted with a special pigment that changes colour when exposed to UV light.

Colour- white/natural with blue that changes to white/natural with purple in UV light.

Size - 3 cm long by 2.5 cm at widest point

During winter or cloudy days the changes in the colour can be subtle to no colour change. In bright sunlight the colour change will be the strongest. Once you return indoors the colors will revert to their original condition.
