Winter 2025: Welcome to my shop! There's a mixture of handmade fabric goods - patchwork quilts, bags, table runners and more! All made from high quality fabrics in my smoke-free, pet-free home sewing studio.

As a child reading was one of my greatest pleasures and it was a real thrill to teach my own children to read and see them develop their life-long love of books. I hope this book pillow will encourage a child to develop a love for reading, indoors and out!

Cushion Cover with lined patchwork pocket. Ideal for storing favourite books and toys. Novelty fabric patchwork squares are a great opportunity to play I-Spy and encourage language learning. The book cushion is designed to keep a current favourite book close to hand and of course provides a comfortable place to rest whilst reading.
Made from 100% cotton fabrics to my own design.
The cushion cover measures 40cm x 40cm (16" square). The patchwork pocket measures 40cm x 24cm. The pocket front is lightly padded and decorated with quilting to ensure it can support the weight of several books or small toys.
Envelope opening on the back is secured with two buttons, one brown the other blue, each approximately 2cm in diameter. (These can be removed if considered to be a choking hazard).
Sold as a cushion cover. Cushion pad NOT supplied. Requires cushion pad approx 42cm (16") square.
Machine washable on a gentle cycle.
Made to my own design in my pet-free, smoke-free home.
NB. Toys and books seen in product photos are props and NOT included in the purchase of this cushion cover.
