Handwoven in very fine Pima cotton and Shantung silk, with a 12 colour gradient warp and grey and golden weft, Hele Bay was a childhood memory captured in bread. Inspired by the slapping waves of the tide on the turn, an idyllic day in the sea as a child, marvelling at thousands of tiny baby crabs in the shallows.Many of us are missing the sea so this scarf is a love song to the ocean. Woven in a complex crackle or Jämtlandsväv in an intricate fractal-like wave pattern with a super drape and sheen- like wrapping yourself in a wave. Woven from cotton and silk, it will regulate your temperature and won’t be itchy or prickly.
