Full description
A handwoven wrap scarf in 14 shades of Staithes on the North Yorkshire coast. Inspired by one perfect day in June, bare feet, exploring the alleyways, finding a mosaic garden round the back of the George, roses and geraniums in bloom. Distant sounds of children playing on the beach. A tiny overshot draft captures flecks of sea foam at high tide, on the reflected village in the harbour. Each square a unique shade due to the visual blending of warp and weft in the ground fabric. Soft and supple, the wrap is light and warm, and large enough to loop around your neck. Warm enough for cool spring days, making this a year-round scarf .
Approx 33cm x 195 cm plus fringe
