I love every aspect of the natural world, from its landscapes and colours to its plants and wildlife - hopefully that is reflected in my work.
The hedgerows near my house have been full of beautiful dog violets this year and have added so much interest to lockdown walks. These delicate purple flowers which add a real splash of colour to the landscape after the long winter months are the inspiration behind this piece.

Full description
This made to order fused glass flower panel with a beautiful purple dog violet design adds a touch of spring to your home. As it stands on its own sycamore block you can display it wherever you can admire it best. Each petal and leaf is hand cut from sheet glass in such a way as to resemble this delicate spring flower as closely as possible. Extra detail on the centre of the flowers is achieved by using crushed glass.
The glass panel itself is 16cm long and 15cm high, but complete with stand, the whole piece is 18.5cm tall. For postage, the panel and stand will be packed separately; on receiving it, all you will need to do is slot the glass into the chrome pegs and gently tighten the small screws to hold the piece securely. Your piece will arrive securely packaged in as much eco-friendly material as possible.
This violet panel would make a fabulous and unique gift for lovers of flowers, the countryside or general nature enthusiasts. If you would like to order one, please allow one week for me to make it.
