Full description
This landscape picture has been wet felted using merino wool fibres for the base with various natural and synthetic fibres added to provide texture and detail. Once felted, hand stitching has been added to the picture to add further detail and enhance the felted features. The landscape has then been mounted, by means of stitching, to a piece of silver-grey card.
The felted picture measures approximately 8" x 6" (20cm x 15cm) with the backing board measuring 10" x 8" (25cm x 20cm) ready to frame in a readily available frame. The photographs also show the picture framed for illustration purposes only - the frame is not included in the listing.
The final photograph shows the work in progress prior to felting.
