Full description
This lovely ballpoint pen is made with genuine sea shells from Orkney. The rounded barrel of this twist pen contains crushed razor clam seashells collected from the beach behind Churchill Barrier No4, between the islands of Burray and South Ronaldsay. The white, grey and blue colours of the shells will always bring you back to our peaceful islands. The resin binder has a very pale blue colour cast, reminiscent of the shallow water in this bay, which formed as a result of the barrier being built. The silky-smooth twist mechanism is fitted into the top of the pen, the wide finial giving an easy grip to operate it. There is a strong curved pocket clip and a double taper to the tip section. The metal components have a gunmetal finish with stainless steel accent rings, tip and clip. It uses a standard Parker refill, which is changed by removing the top finial and unscrewing the twist mechanism - take care not to loose the small spring! The pen is 125mm long, about 17mm at its' widest and weighs 48g.
The price includes post and packing.
