Full description

This spectacular rollerball pen is made with real Orkney sea shells. The two piece twist-pen has crushed periwinkle, limpet and razor-clam seashells collected from the Sands of Wright, South Ronaldsay. Periwinkles have a huge range of colours, and those used in this pen have bright orange, browns, yellows, greens and the sparkling mother-of-pearl sea-glitter. Little pieces of true Orkney jewels, the pen and its' shells will bring you back to our serene islands every time you look at it. The colour-cast in the resin binder is a dark misty green, similar to the colour of our rock-pools at night, and the shells seem to float within the pen giving it a spectacular 3D effect, the vibrant colours of the periwinkles contrasting with the grey-white of the razor-clams. This pen takes Cross refills, which are available in all stationers shops and online. Remember that every time you write with this pen, you will be holding a peedie piece of Orkney. The pen is 135mm long, about 14mm diameter and weighs 36g.

The price includes post and packing.
