Full description
This felted piece of artwork is of a country landscape scene. It consists of a handmade felt base, the surface being layered with various other fibres prior to felting to add detail and texture to the picture. Hand embroidery stitching has been added after felting to provide further detail. The felt artwork measures approximately 3.5" x 3.5".
The picture has been stitched onto a piece of stiff card ready for framing in a 5"x5" frame but can easily be removed from the card backing if required. Any size mounting (up to A4) is available on request.
The photographs also show the picture framed for illustration purposes only. The picture is supplied unframed. If framing I would suggest framing without glass allowing the texture of the picture to show fully.
