Item details

There is an upcycled element to this cushion, in that the back came from a man's nice quality shirt. I cut this shirt up because I needed fabric to make some men's face masks and my stash is rather pink and floral! Once lined, the front of the shirt made a very neat opening for the back of the cushion.

I save all the fabric off cuts from my other projects and join them together to make a new unique and colourful item. Lengthy work, but very satisfying!

Full description

I made the front of this cushion with a random patchwork of cotton and poly/cotton fabrics in blues, greys and yellows. I backed it with two layers of fabric and then machine stitched with diagonal rows of stitching in light grey thread.

The reverse is a navy blue cotton print with four small navy buttons fastening across the middle. This was originally the front of a man's shirt and I has been lined with cream cotton lining fabric. The inside seams have been overlocked for strength and neatness.

Measures about 14 inches squares and comes complete with a new polyester filled cushion.

This item is one of a kind and ready to ship.
