Add a touch of vintage glamour to your home with this handcrafted Art Deco style fused glass bowl, inspired by the bold lines and geometric elegance of the 1920s. Featuring a striking design in black, white, and clear glass, this unique piece blends timeless style with contemporary craftsmanship.
The bowl was created using coloured transparent and opaque 1mm glass strings (in a mixture of light blues and vanilla) to create the stripe base. Once fired this base was cut into six triangles to create a hexagon shape, with glass in beautiful peacock blue added as a boarder. Embellishment glass was added on top and kiln-fired at high temperatures to create a symmetrical Art Deco pattern. The fused panel was then slumped over a mould in a final firing, giving the bowl its elegant curved shape and functional form.
Perfect as a decorative centrepiece, trinket dish, or statement accent for a coffee table, hallway console, or dressing table, this bowl is both beautiful and practical. It also makes a thoughtful gift for lovers of vintage design, art deco, or handmade home décor.
