Full description
A stunningly beautiful decorative mirror of a koi carp swimming in a flower strewn pond. Looks great hanging on a wall near a window or lamp or sparkling in the sun outside in the garden. The colours of the fish laid over the mirror shimmer and glow as the light changes throughout the day and a lamp or downlighter will make then shine in the evening too.
The mirror is surrounded with lead came which holds textured green glass, semi opaque pink glass and smaller pieces of opaque iridescent pink and blue glass soldered together, grouted, black leaded and polished to shine.
The fish is created from varying shades of orange and red textured glass cut to shape, copper foiled and soldered together and the flowers are made from white iridescent and pink semi opaque glass. All soldered together with a black patina which is polished to shine and sealed with a silicon wax finish.
A lovely gift to celebrate a wedding anniversary or just for someone who loves sitting by a pond watching the fish swimming around and enjoying the tranquillity and peace.
Size is approx. 11" x 13" and it hangs from a silvery black chain which is soldered to the back.
Packaged in bubble wrap and tissue paper and well protected for posting. Free Postage to the UK
