This easy to wear faux suede and wood bead bracelet would be a great look all year round.

The dark red faux suede cord has a velvet feel and is soft and comfortable to wear. It is a strong, hardwearing, flexible vegetarian alternative to genuine suede.

The cord length is 19cms, including the eco-friendly, high quality stainless steel lobster claw clasp.

I designed the bracelet using textured brown beads to capture the look and feel of tree bark and the round wooden beads to add a splash of colour.

If you are not buying for yourself, then this bracelet would make a great gift for your someone special.

My work is designed and handcrafted by me, at my home on the North Downs in Kent.

I had been for a walk with my labrador Mabel and spent all of my time just looking at and touching the bark on the different trees and noticing how very intricate some of the patterns are.

When I got home I felt inspired to make some jewellery pieces based on my experiences.

Having just created my NEW 'Wood' Collection, I was then inspired by the men in my life, my husband, son and grandson to make some pieces for 'the boys and the men'.

So here's to many more nature inspired 'Boys 2 Men' jewellery items..
