Full description
Beautiful copper earrings inspired by the phases of the moon with crescents and half moons made from textured copper plate cut to shape and soldered together with textured copper washers holding small circles of iridescent mother of pearl to symbolise the textures and luminosity of the moon. Handmade copper ear wires with small blue ceramic beads complete the design. Oxidised to give an antique finish with polished highlights sealed with a silicon wax polish.
I use repurposed copper as I love the fact that something that has been used so practically can be given a new lease of life and turned into something beautiful
They measure approx. 3.5cm x 2 cm
