It started accidentally as I was looking through some fat quarters I had been given and noticed the turquoise exactly matched the the Fun Cats which was next to it.
I used squares to show off rather than blend the cats and lovely colours and the fabric chose the 9 big squares because that’s where I ran out of fabric. I didn’t want to do a contrast edging because I thought it might detract. It is slightly thicker than most quilts because of the method I used to construct it.
