Full description
This lovely handmade butterfly has been made using a beautiful blue green streaky coloured stained glass which is one of my favourite colours of stained glass this the outer parts of the butterfly made from dark blue corella glass.
This is truly a unique butterfly as the streaky glass is alway different and I never know quite what the colour is going to be until the sheets of glass arrive.
This would make a great present for any garden or nature lover. It will look lovely in any window and does not have to be in full sunlight to look beautiful.
Each piece of glass has been cut by hand, washed, foiled and soldered together, washed again and polished. The antennae have been made from twisted wire and two rings have been attached with a length of fishing line for hanging purposes.
This measures 18 cms x 16 cms so is a nice sized suncatcher.
I will supply a good quality window hook to hang your suncatcher in the window, Please remember to wet the plunger before pushing firmly on the window.
