About this item
Turtle suncatchers made in beautiful stained glass by Carole’s Glass. I was asked if I made turtles by a customer and at the time I didn’t but now I do. These lovely sea turtle suncatchers are made out of a lovely mix of textured stained glass. The glass used is lime green and dark blue for the shell, white streak glass for the belly and green corella glass for the body, tail and legs. Each piece of glass has been hand cut, ground, washed, copper foiled and soldered together and washed again. Two rings and a length of fishing line has been attached for hanging purposes. This measures 18.5 cms x 11 cms. These would make an ideal gift for anyone of any age and particularly a turtle lover. I will supply one good quality window hook for hanging your suncatcher in the window, please remember to wet before pushing firmly onto the window. I normally post the following working day and these will be sent using Royal Mail Tracked 24. Please note as this is made from glass if dropped it may break resulting in sharp edges so care should be taken. This is not a toy so should be kept out f the reach of children.

The seagull and snail pieces I ordered are fantastic! The seagull in particular is very charming. They also arrived carefully packaged. My friend was very happy with her gift.
