I had a desire to make something a bit different from a nice piece of wood and this Ash is really nice, with swirling patterns of light and dark, the nice grain of Ash and even a bit of ripple as well. The curving shape shows this off really well, while still being stable for the candle. It would make a lovely gift or addition to the home.
The glass insert should always be used (note it will get hot) and the wood is shaped to allow good clearance to the glass. It will fit the smaller type tealights, it like all candles should not be left unattended.
