Upcycled denim patchwork cushion with handsewn reverse applique circles.
Description
This patchwork cushion uses recycled denim enhanced by handsewn reverse applique circles using a seed head design fabric from Voyage Maison. Tiny hand stitching provides an outline to each circle and the lovely red colour of the seed head design contrasts well with the different blues of the denim. Measures 46 x 46 cm with a zip inserted in the back for easy removal. Matching piping is inserted around the edges of the cushion to complete the design. Includes a new polyester filled cushion pad. Recommend spot or dry cleaning. Please ask for international postage charges.
Inspiration
I love to make useful and well designed items from upcycled fabrics and this lovely red seed head design fabric by Voyage Maison seemed perfect for the reverse applique circles in my recycled denim patchwork cushion. The colours go together very well and the cushion would complement many rooms.
