The Faun is a mythological half human–half goat. A manifestation of forest and animal spirits that would help or hinder humans at whim. They are often associated with the satyrs of Greek mythology.
This Faun is a happier representation of the myth and folklore of its namesake. He Is happy to help and is playful and a bit mischievous with it. But never malicious! He would be happiest sitting on a desk, table or mantel anywhere he can look upon the world and smile a bit.
Approx 13cm (5") tall.
Starting life as a lump of Polymer clay this figure was carved and sculpted before being further brought to life with acrylic paints. It was then given a coat of matte varnish to protect its finish.
