Hello and welcome to my shop.
I've always loved making things and worked as a Graphic Designer for over twenty years. Nowadays I experiment with paints, fabric, collage and clay and particularly enjoy combining different materials and patterns to create colourful, unique mixed media pieces.

Full description
This quirky mixed media artwork would make a unique gift for any occasion or spoil yourself and add a pop of colour to your own home! The eclectic mix of treasures are housed in a wooden compartment box which has been painted with black acrylic paint.
Layers of paint, wood block prints, sections of batik and decorative embellishments from old books have been added to create a boho feel. I've included polymer clay tiles (which I've debossed and painted), a metal head of Buddha and filigree hand of hamsa. Also on display are metal jewellery findings and beads (glass foil, carved jade, bone, drawbench and Czech fire-polished.)
The overall size is approx. 24cm wide x 33cm high and 4.5cm deep. The box is free-standing.
