Full description
Decoupage and painted by hand, this oyster shell has been harvested from the coasts of Devon.
In the Chinoiserie style, this dish has a variety of uses such as a holder for rings, earrings, brooches or just as an ornament on its own or even a collection!
The sharp edges have been smoothed with gold leaf paint and a coat of varnish.
The underside of the shell is painted gold and varnished, the inner shell has a glass-like resin finish, making the inside of the shell water resistant, leaving a high gloss reflective surface.
Please be aware there are small natural flaws with the oyster shell that are not always camouflaged successfully by the decoupage/resin process.
Size: 11 x 7 cm
