We have a small area of woodland near us here at Bramble Cottage. From dusk onwards We can hear the owls calling to one another. I love the multi textured look of their wonderful feathers and of course those all knowing wise eyes.
This was a very ambitious project and took me along time to complete. I began with loose watercolour but then gradually built up the image with layers of stronger colours. I added texture and finer detail with coloured pencils,drawing pens and gel pens. Finally adding gouache paint highlights and some watercolour splashes.

Full description
An open edition signed high quality print of an original painting of a Tawny Owl. The original painting is mixed media. Each print is professionally mounted and cellophane wrapped.
Measurements
A4 (20.00 plus signed for p&p) - Including the mount the print is 305mm x 410mm (16 x 12 inches)
A3 (38.00 plus special delivery p&p)- Including the mount the print is 290mm x 410mm ( 16 x 20 inches)
The print will be wrapped in tissue and packed in a sturdy box.
