Item details

This tiny suede book is a perfect little notebook to keep in a handbag or pocket. It measures 10 x 7.5 x 3 cm and has its own pencil safely tucked inside. It has a contrasting leather tie and has lovely, smooth URSUS Ivory-tinted paper 130g/m2, which is acid-free & non-chlorine-bleached. Inside it is lined with brown patterned tissue paper and is sewn with South-African wool. Each of my books is unique, signed (& numbered - this is 2,208), and comes in its own hand-made gift box.

This piece of suede was a panel from a suede skirt, which was the perfect size for a book. I teamed it with a piece of brown patterned Chinese tissue paper that came as packaging in a desk chair. The strong wool it is sewn together with was from a member of the WI who had come back from a period living in South Africa, and was having a good clear out!
