So what to do with the spare bits of paper from printmaking?
I don’t have the heart to just throw them in the bin so they end up in a box and then eventually I have a frenzy of making… some make it to this shop, others I keep and the ones which are not quite right, I keep and rework into something else at a later date.

Full description
The main blue area of this piece is an original collagraph. I have then collaged some of my screen printed imagery and sewn directly onto the piece with gold coloured thread.
Measures:
- Collage area: 15 cm x 21 cm
- Paper: 19 cm x 29 cm
Love the process of printmaking and in particular reworking images into new pieces. I’ve made a few of these recently and they are all about the colour, composition and gorgeous textures. They follow a similar pallet of blues, greens and purples.
