I've always wanted to paint a fox. I see them running across the fields nearby. I've never seen one close up but actually maybe I don't want to ( I've got chickens!).
I started by getting in some close details around the head, especially the eyes. The rest of the composition is much looser. For this I drop my selected colours onto very wet paper and let them work their magic as they mingle and move on the paper. The form is suggested with pen and ink. Once everything is dry. A spray of speckles (actually glitter paint on the original) and some flicks of gouache add some texture to the image.

Full description
An open edition high quality signed print of an original painting. Watercolour,gouache and pen used for the original. Each print is professionally mounted and wrapped in cellophane. It will be posted wrapped in tissue and protected in a sturdy cardboard box.

A4 (20.00 plus signed for delivery) - Including mount the print measures 305mm x 410mm ( 16 x 12 inches)
A3 (38.00 plus special delivery p&p) - including mount the print measures 290mm x 410mm ( 16 x 20 inches)
