Handmade in the UK.
Mini Felt Picture.
This miniature felt painting of Spring Flowers is full of texture, fibres and bright spring colours.
The background is wet felted. The flowers are needle felted for a three dimensional effect and highlighted with machine embroidery on the stems.
Made using wool from our flock of North Country Mule Ewes (please see my about section for more information) along with Merino wool and silk fibres.
This picture was made by alternating many layers of wool then wet felting followed by needle felting and finally free motion embroidery. A technique that takes many hours.
This original signed felt art is presented in a white frame without glass.
