These adorable blue budgies are reminiscent of a pair that I used to gaze at as a child. My grandmother had a pair of lime green plaster versions on the wall in her lounge, their cheeky smiles fascinated me. My Grandma lived to a ripe old age, and the budgies were one of the things that I claimed and they now sit in my hallway. I get such lovely comments from people who receive them, makes me think of her.

This pair of budgie wall art decorations would make the perfect gift for your friends and family, or provide a unique eye catching piece to enhance any wall in your home, also the perfect vintage inspired gift or to celebrate a wedding.
Each pair is one of a kind, hand-modelled, then illustrated individually with a fresh hand-painted design. Cut out from a slice of white earthenware clay, carefully pressed into shape, a little wire hook added for hanging, dried, fired in a potter's kiln, then dipped in glaze and hand painted ceramic colours applied to fix the design in the final firing.
Each of the birds is approximately 12.5cm tall.
