These beautiful lightweight titanium earrings display an attractive range of shades which really come to life when the light hits them.
The colouring process makes these earrings unique and one of a kind which means that no one else will have ones that are identical.
I have made these earrings by hand sawing the discs from titanium sheet and then giving the surface an attractive hammered finish to create texture before colouring. I have then created crystal bead drops on sterling silver wire and hung these from the discs..
The titanium discs measure approximately 3.5 cm across and are hung from sterling silver earring wires I have also hand made.
Titanium is a hard wearing lightweight metal suitable for every day wear. Titanium doesn't tarnish however if you wish to clean it you can do so in warm soapy water, without using any abrasives and dry with a soft cloth. Care should be taken to avoid scratching the surface as the colours are contained in an oxidised surface layer.
