This miniature felt painting of Snowdrops is full of texture and fibres
There are small areas of hand embroidery
The Snowdrops are highlighted with machine embroidery.
Made using wool from our flock of North Country Mule Ewes (please see my about section for more information) along with Merino wool and silk fibres.
This picture was made by alternating many layers of wool then wet felting followed by needle felting and finally free motion embroidery. A technique that takes many hours.
This original signed felt art is presented in a white frame without glass.
