Full description
This original design uses three shades of grey to make the three felted roses sitting neatly on a narrow black hair band. I have designed the hair band so the flowers can be moved to different positions.
The flowers are made using traditional wet felting techniques. I felt together 3 layers of merino wool, then cut to expose the middle layer of black. This gives the flowers their distinctive art deco look. The individual pieces are then shaped and sewn onto a felt backing.
The band is a sturdy flexible metal, covered in black ribbon, which seems to fit all head sizes!
