This bowl would make a unique gift for a loved one or special friend.
I created this bowl on my potter's wheel using a stoneware clay then carefully altered the rim to form a heart shape. The additional twisted strap creates a secure decorative thumb grip .
Once bisque fired three glazes were applied to the surface and then re-fired at a higher temperature with the result of capturing the colours of the English coast.
A useful bowl for a tasty portion or as a sharing bowl of nibbles
