Hello and welcome to my Folksy shop! While we're enduring the pandemic, most of my items will be posted using the Roya; Mail's 'Signed for' first class service.
I've been making for others since 2013 and am in the process of opening up my shop here. If you'd like to see what my customers have said about my work, you can read more than 1,000 reviews on my web site: http://www.thecrimsonrabbit.co.uk/ (click 'Reviews' on the bar at the top of the page).
In addition to the UK, I'm happy to ship most items to Europe, the US, Canada, Japan and Australia - just message me for a shipping quotation.
Many of the pieces I make are made to order and the shipping time is a 'worse case scenario' estimate - I will often make and send items quicker than indicated, although things do sometimes slow down at busy times. If you want something urgently, just message me and I'll confirm if I can meet your deadline.
I'm more active on Instagram than anywhere else: https://www.instagram.com/the_crimson_rabbit/ but you can always find me online elsewhere: my blog is here: www.thecrimsonrabbit.co.uk, my facebook page here: www.facebook.com/thecrimsonrabbitpage and my Pinterest addiction is evidenced here: http://www.pinterest.com/crimsonrabbit/

This lovely woodland fabric print was designed by one of my favourite artists - Valerie Greeley. As well as the cute bunnies, the fabric features all types of flora and fauna in lovely soft colours.
I've partnered up the print with a very soft and fine cotton needlecord on the outside and a toning green woven cotton gingham for the lining. The bag is a perfect size for a smaller project - certainly large enough for a one skein shawl but compact and squishy enough to take with you in a larger bag when you're on the go. You can see the dimensions of the bag in the last photograph and I've included a skein of yarn and a pair of standard size straight needles to give you a practical feel of the size.
The corners of the bag have been folded to create pretty triangle shapes that flatten the bottom of the bag and help it stand on it's own so you can work out of it. I've also added a yarn guide in the lining made with the green corduroy, which opens with a metal press stud. The drawstrings are a lovely soft cotton woven cord in a matching green shade, and I've sealed the ends by adding some matching fabric tape, for a tidy finish.
All the fabrics have been interfaced with woven cotton for strength and to help resist creasing a little, and I've added a layer of fleece for a little more body and padding. Please note that the fabric placement in the photographs is of one sample bag, and your bag could look slightly different, depending on how the fabric is cut.
