Old and worn fabric that has so much memory and is all full of story often gets put away, forgotten about, these bags make use of such fabrics so they get remembered and cherished, and are to be used and not kept for best or fancy.
Please note that while the fabric has been carefully washed, the fabric used is salvaged and re-purposed and may have some marks and wear on the fabric often found on vintage linens.
Listing is for the pouch and needlecase set only, and does not include any of the little accessories.
Postage is calculated using the Royal Mail website, any excess postage paid will of course be refunded (especially of note if more than one item is ordered)
During higher tiers and lockdowns, I am listing a longer than usual time allowance for posting although items are generally posted within a few days.

Made from time softened and re-purposed vintage furnishing fabric, this little notions pouch and needlecase set is the perfect addition to any crochet or knitting bag and will store an assortment of accessories and needles for darning or seaming as well as adding a little vintage aesthetic.
With an Autumn hued floral print for the main fabric, and then fully lined with a calamine linen, the pouch has rounded corners and measures approx 15.5 x13 cm (6 by 5 inches) and closes with a metal YKK soft gold coloured zip and will hold a variety of knitting and crochet notions and what nots, A piece of vintage leather thonging is on the zipper, this can be removed if required.
The zip measures 15 cm (6 inches).
The needlecase is lined with a heavier weight canvas and Inside is a piece of vintage wool fabric that has been hand embroidered with a blanket stitch to prevent any fraying .
Between the outer and lining fabric is a piece of fleece made from natural fibres so the needlecase is nice and plump. Needles can also be pinned to the lining, the layer of fleece will help prevent them poking through to the front and is kept closed with a pair of hand sewn vintage snap fasteners.
The needlecase measures approx 19.5 x 10 cm when open (7.75 x 4 inches) 9.5 x10 cm when closed (3.75 x 4 inches)
