Full description
A slip cast jug using a mould I had made especially for me. I love its shape and wobbly bits at the base. The relief flowers, sprigs, are pressed from individual moulds I made myself. They are applied whilst the clay pot is still wet. It is then bisque fired to 1050 C. The sprigs are then hand painted and surrounded by stamped leaves, flowers and spots using stamps also hand made by myself. The jug is then dipped in transparent glaze and glaze fired to 1020 C.
It is dishwasher and microwave proof ( it will be very hot from the microwave so please protect your hands). Not oven proof.
